Role description
Position: Quantitative Analyst Location: Charlotte, North Carolina Duration: Contract Job ID: 170525 Job Overview: This position involves contributing to moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Quantitative Analytics. The role requires reviewing and analyzing challenges that demand an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. The successful candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to develop, enhance, and maintain the PEAC model for counterparty risk assessment within the Prime Brokerage business. This is an individual contributor role that involves working closely with risk management, model validation, and technology teams to deliver effective risk analytics solutions. Responsibilities: β€’ Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Quantitative Analytics. β€’ Contribute to large-scale planning related to Quantitative Analytics deliverables. β€’ Review and analyze moderately complex Quantitative Analytics challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors. β€’ Collaborate with stakeholders to meet Quantitative Analytics deliverables while adhering to policies, procedures, and compliance requirements. β€’ Develop, enhance, and maintain the PEAC model for counterparty risk assessment within the Prime Brokerage business. β€’ Work closely with risk management, model validation, and technology teams to deliver robust and effective risk analytics solutions. Qualifications: β€’ 4 years of Quantitative Analytics experience or equivalent demonstrated through work, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education. β€’ 4+ years of hands-on coding experience, with proficiency in Python and SQL. β€’ 2+ years of experience with derivative products and markets, particularly in equity and prime brokerage. β€’ Experience with large-scale software implementation in Python. β€’ Experience working with Sales and Trading partners as a model developer. β€’ Master's or higher degree (or equivalent) in computer science, computational finance, mathematics, or similar technical fields. β€’ Strong expertise in the theory and mathematics behind data analytics. β€’ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
