R Administrator – Contract Opportunity Location: 2 days per week onsite in Hertfordshire (preferred) or London Start date: ASAP Day rate: Competitive DOE, inside IR35 Contract length: 6 months initially We are looking for an experienced R Administrator with strong expertise in R package development, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure DevOps to join a forward-thinking, collaborative environment. This role is essential in supporting robust analytical operations and ensuring smooth development, deployment, and maintenance of R environments across the organisation. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain central repositories for R packages. • Collaborate with development teams on package development and deployment. • Configure and manage package sources, mirrors, and custom repositories. • Ensure availability, documentation, and accessibility of R packages. • Support internal package development and publication. • Manage dependencies to ensure a stable analytical environment. • Install and maintain R and Frozen R packages. • Create scalable R compute environments using Docker.
