Contract Inside IR35 | Negotiable Day Rate | Mostly Remote (occasional travel to North of England) | long-term role We’re partnering with a large banking client on a high-impact security transformation — and we need a RabbitMQ expert to help drive it forward. This is a hands-on role at the heart of a major Privileged Access Management (PAM) initiative, where RabbitMQ plays a critical role in secure, large-scale deployments across regulated environments. What you’ll be doing · Designing and delivering RabbitMQ solutions end-to-end · Building and managing clustered, multi-site environments · Driving deployments across non-prod and production · Shaping low-level designs and influencing architecture · Collaborating with engineers, SMEs, and vendors · Creating clear, high-quality technical documentation What you’ll bring · Strong RabbitMQ experience (queues, exchanges, shovels) · Proven track record with cluster configuration & management · Confident working via Linux/Windows command line · Solid Kubernetes knowledge (pods, deployments, Helm) · Experience with Docker and containerisation · Python scripting/development skills · PowerShell automation Nice to have · Windows Server experience · PKI / certificate management (OpenSSL, PowerShell) · Ansible exposure · Advanced Docker knowledge The kind of person we want · A proactive individual who can work autonomously · Comfortable tackling new tech and complex problems · Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical teams · Cares about clean, concise documentation Why this role?
