Rata Data Engineer

Agility Partners is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join one of our financial services clients on a high-visibility regulatory technology transformation initiative. This role will play a key part in migrating data from a legacy RATA platform to a modern, cloud-based CRA Wiz environment. We're looking for someone who thrives in complex data environments and has experience supporting large-scale data migration efforts, building robust ETL processes, and ensuring data accuracy in regulated industries. What You'll Do • Design and develop data migration solutions to move information from legacy regulatory reporting platforms into modern cloud-based systems • Build, enhance, and maintain ETL and data integration processes that support data conversion activities • Perform data mapping, validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance to ensure accuracy and integrity throughout the migration • Partner with business stakeholders, compliance teams, and technology partners to deliver successful migration outcomes • Identify and resolve data quality issues while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements • Support testing, data validation, and post-migration activities What We're Looking For • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering • Strong SQL and data warehousing expertise • Experience designing and building ETL or data integration solutions • Proven track record supporting data migration, platform conversion, or modernization initiatives • Strong data validation, reconciliation, and data quality management skills • Experience working in financial services or other highly regulated industries • Experience with CRA, RATA, or CRA WizF is required Why Join? • Work on a high-impact modernization initiative with enterprise-wide visibility • Collaborate with business and technology leaders across the organization • Apply both technical and regulatory expertise in a meaningful way • Be part of a cloud-focused transformation effort shaping the future of regulatory technology
