Position Description:
You will be responsible for driving new sales for Esteemed in the San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley markets. This is a quota-carrying, commissioned sales role with targets. l measured on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
The position focuses on selling professional staffing and digital services solutions. Esteemed Digital Solutions focuses on AI/agentic frameworks and HR Tech. Esteemed Talent staff augmentation services focus on IT, digital strategy, data visualization, cloud, AI/ML engineering, ecommerce, analytics, big data, and related technologies. The Sales Director's activities are supported by the Esteemed Colleagues platform, a virtual bench of 30,000+ vetted professional candidates located both in the region and in key markets around the globe.
There is significant emphasis on developing the pipeline, meeting targets, and exceeding customer expectations. The candidate is required to provide a proven track record of being a high performer and exceeding quota. Candidates should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, good multi-taskers, and comfortable with using technology and office tools as part of the sales cycle. The target market is upper mid-market and large enterprises.
Responsibilities:
• Selling Esteemed capabilities and solutions in the San Francisco Bay and Silicon Valley regions.
• Aggressively prospects and effectively builds and manages a sales pipeline by working with clients, channel partners, direct networks, marketing, and campaign results – a true sales hunter role.
• Able to define and set up sales campaigns that produce consistent results.
• Collaborates with business, engineering, and delivery executives as part of the sales cycle.
• Drives the proposal process and participates in proposal development.
• Drives campaigns, events, and other pipeline-building activities.
• Constructs deals by profitability goals.
• Performs formal deal reviews.
• Manages pipeline and activities through the Esteemed ATS/CRM.
• Facilitates and actively participates in contract negotiations, contract management, and closure.
The ideal candidate will bring existing direct client relationships, partnerships, and channels as well as rapidly build new ones that result in the acquisition of new client opportunities across all industry sectors:
• Develop new relationships with C-level executives within the IT, Healthcare, Life Sciences, and Energy sectors for target accounts.
• Develop leads into new logo pursuits and close business.
• Leverage knowledge of industry trends and client challenges to develop and deliver compelling value propositions.
• Motivate and drive Sales teams.
Required Skills
Qualifications:
• Must reside in and have a strong network of existing contacts in the New York market.
• Sales hunter mentality and approach.
• Strong business development/sales skills.
• Experience in managing customers, prospects, and partnerships.
• Experience in selling global services and/or enterprise-class digital solutions.
• Solutions-oriented by nature and consultative in approach to selling.
• Experience selling consulting services.
• Cold calling ability and energy.
• Strong customer presence that can quickly build a positive customer experience.
• Good relationships and networking capabilities.
• Creative thinker and deal maker.

• Detail-oriented and able to drive a sales process to closure.
• Demonstrated successful proposal development and presentation skills to include strong oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of dealing at the C-level and achieving large order values.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on environment and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Able to develop effective presentations with limited support.
Travel:
Must be able to travel locally to face-to-face customer meetings as needed.
