Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a RegOps Lead Engineer to join their team. As a RegOps Lead Engineer, you will be part of the Technology Department supporting the Investigations organization. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical leadership, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: RegOps Lead Engineer Location: Rockville, Maryland or Tysons VA (Hybrid) Pay Range: $86/hr W2 What's the Job? โ€ข Lead the integration of Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products with the company's technology infrastructure to support investigative functions. โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain GraphQL APIs to enable efficient data exchange between external platforms and internal systems. โ€ข Architect scalable integration solutions that connect external products with internal databases, applications, and services. โ€ข Build and maintain middleware, integration layers, and data pipelines to ensure reliable system-to-system communication. โ€ข Collaborate with COTS vendors on technical requirements, API specifications, and troubleshooting to ensure seamless integration. What's Needed? โ€ข Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred). โ€ข 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on enterprise system integration. โ€ข Strong expertise in GraphQL, including schema design, query optimization, resolver implementation, and federation patterns. โ€ข Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages. โ€ข Experience with REST APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML), and API gateway technologies.
