We’re Hiring: Sr. Regulatory Data Automation Specialist Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days/week onsite) Type: Contract – Direct Client Opportunity Are you a data professional with a strong regulatory background? Our direct client is seeking a Sr. Regulatory Data Automation Specialist to support high-impact initiatives at the intersection of data, compliance, and automation. What You’ll Do • Analyze complex financial datasets to support regulatory reporting requirements. • Translate regulatory guidelines into actionable technical specifications. • Automate and streamline data processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. • Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity for filings and disclosures. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to process improvements. What We’re Looking For • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field. • 5+ years’ experience as a Data Analyst in financial services, with exposure to regulatory environments. • Strong knowledge of financial regulations (e.g., Basel, SEC, FINRA, ESMA, FCA). • Hands-on skills with SQL, Python, R, SAS, Tableau, or Power BI. • Experience working with large, complex datasets. • Excellent communication skills, able to simplify regulatory and technical concepts for diverse audiences. • Detail-oriented, with a commitment to accuracy, timeliness, and compliance. Preferred Experience • Direct interaction with regulators and regulatory submissions. • Hands-on experience with enterprise data management and automation platforms. • Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks and cross-border reporting obligations.
