Role description
RIG is seeking a Oracle Integration Developer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity 100% Remote. Job Title: Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer Location: Remote 9 Months Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ODI, Oracle databases, and ETL processes, and will work closely with business and technical teams to support data warehousing and analytics initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/ELT solutions using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) • Develop and maintain ODI mappings, packages, procedures, and load plans • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading from multiple source systems • Optimize ODI jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration, performance, and production issues • Work closely with DBAs, data architects, and business analysts to understand data requirements • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with defined standards • Support deployment activities across development, test, and production environments • Create and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and workflows Required Skills & Qualifications • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI 11g/12c) • Solid experience with Oracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL) • Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling • Experience working with large datasets and complex transformations • Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in ODI • Experience with version control and deployment processes • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and documentation skills Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills • Experience with Oracle Data Warehouse (ODW) or similar platforms • Exposure to Oracle GoldenGate, OBIEE, or Oracle Analytics Cloud • Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting • Familiarity with cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments • Experience with GoAnywhere (Managed File Transfer – MFT) is an added advantage Education • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
