Oracle Developer 3 Month Contract (Possible extension) Location: 100% Remote (Client located in Pleasanton, CA) Work Shift: Monday through Friday (8:00AM – 5:00PM PST) • Must be able to work on W-2 basis • Must be able to work PST hours JOB DESCRIPTION This Global Retail leader has an immediate long-term contract opportunity in Pleasanton, CA for an Oracle Developer. This position requires working onsite Monday-Friday. Contract Duration: 3+ Months (Possible Extension) We are seeking a Oracle Developer to join our team. • Oracle Retail RMS and Cloud Integration experience. • Effective communication and teamwork skills are necessary for collaborating with different teams to develop and maintain enterprise applications. • This role involves leveraging these skills to create robust and scalable enterprise solutions. • Strong Techno functional experience in oracle retail Merchandising System - RMS. • Expert in oracle PLSQL, UNIX shell scripting, Oracle AQ, message services. • Very good Performance tuning oracle SQl and PLSQL experience. • Experience in developing and designing complex applications revolving around RMS with understanding of production support and maintenance process. • Experience working on Web service-oriented architecture for integrations. • Experience working in event driven design and implementation patterns, containers and micro-services, REST APIs are a bonus. • Experience with Kafka integration, Java Springboot, Azure Kubernetes and OCI is preferred. • This role requires connecting with teams in offshore. Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in computer science, information systems management, engineering (any field), or closely related quantitative discipline.
