Job Title: PowerBuilder Developer Location: Spartanburg, NC (Hybrid 3 days onsite per week) Type: Contract-to-Hire (C2H) Job Description: We are seeking an experienced PowerBuilder Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise applications built on PowerBuilder, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, hybrid environment. Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and enhance applications using PowerBuilder. • Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize existing PowerBuilder applications. • Integrate PowerBuilder applications with databases and external systems. • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Support production systems by resolving defects, performance issues, and implementing enhancements. • Document technical solutions, workflows, and processes for knowledge sharing. Required Skills & Experience: • 4+ years of PowerBuilder development experience. • Strong knowledge of Sybase/Oracle/MS SQL Server or other relational databases. • Experience with Stored Procedures, Triggers, and SQL scripting. • Hands-on experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) in enterprise environments. • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Nice to Have: • Experience in financial services or lending industry. • Familiarity with modernization strategies (migrating legacy applications to newer platforms). • Exposure to C#, .NET, or Java for integration with newer applications.
