Position: Data Pipeline Engineer/SQL-Databricks
Type: W2/ Contract-to-Hire / 6-12 Months
Location: 100% Remote (Onshore required)

Overview
Weβre seeking a versatile Data Pipeline Engineer who can design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines using Databricks and SQL. This role requires someone who is highly self-directed, proactive in monitoring their pipelines, and knowledgeable about performance optimization and reliability engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines in Databricks.
Retrieve, transform, cleanse, and deliver data from various sources.
Optimize pipeline performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
Implement monitoring, alerting, and self-recovery capabilities within pipelines.
Ensure data reliability, accuracy, and system stability.
Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify vague requirements and propose solutions.
Maintain strong ownership of delivered pipelines and ongoing operations.
Required Skills
Strong SQL experience.
Strong Databricks experience (SQL + Python).
Experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Ability to independently monitor and maintain production workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills; proactive mindset.
Comfortable working with ambiguity.
Preferred Skills
Healthcare data experience (preferred, not required).
Experience with pipeline automation and recovery workflows.
