The Renewals Specialist (Virtual Renewals Specialist) plays a critical role in securing recurring revenue through proactive contract lifecycle management. This role manages the full renewals cycle, driving retention, revenue growth, and customer satisfaction while collaborating across multiple teams and partner organizations.
This position supports the Mid-Market and SMB customer segments, overseeing a portfolio of software and services renewals and executing a high-volume, high-velocity sales motion.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Own the end-to-end renewals cycle for an assigned book of business, including pipeline management, forecasting, quoting, and deal closure.
β’ Maintain a rolling 120-day forecast, delivering high forecast accuracy (>90%) and ensuring Salesforce data hygiene.
β’ Collaborate with our client's internal sales teams, operations teams, and partner managers to align on renewal priorities, resolve blockers, and ensure timely execution.
β’ Engage directly with customers and channel partners, addressing inquiries, negotiating terms when necessary, and driving timely renewals.
β’ Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and partner with our client's sales to drive growth.
β’ Manage renewals pipeline reporting, contribute to weekly governance reviews, and provide data-driven insights to leadership.
β’ Proactively monitor accounts for renewal risks and escalate challenges as needed.
β’ Leverage the CRM and quoting tools (Salesforce, CCWR, etc.) and maintain compliance with internal sales and operations policies.
β’ Support data hygiene best practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Core Qualifications
β’ 2+ years of renewals, customer success, or inside sales experience within the technology industry.
β’ Strong understanding of sales operations, B2B customer engagement, and SaaS/software renewals best practices.
β’ Proven experience managing high-volume transaction cycles and collaborating with sales teams.
β’ Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, including comfort negotiating with partners and customers.
β’ Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
β’ Experience with Salesforce and quoting tools highly preferred.
β’ Analytical mindset with a focus on forecasting accuracy and data quality.
β’ Proactive problem-solving abilities and sound judgment when managing renewals risks and escalations.
β’ Fluent English language skills required, additional language skills a plus.
Preferred Attributes
β’ Experience supporting hyperscaler-aligned sales motions (AWS, Azure, etc.) or working in partner ecosystems.
β’ Knowledge of forecasting methodologies and KPI reporting standards.
β’ Familiarity with compliance practices for customer data and contract management.
Work Environment
