Role description
A leading client of ours is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Reporting Analyst to support internal and external reporting requests in their organization. This role is responsible for responding to email-based reporting requests, generating ad hoc reports, maintaining dashboards, and delivering accurate data insights to stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, experience with Power BI or Tableau, and the ability to communicate effectively with business users.
This is a hybrid role working in Indianapolis and a long term contract role.

Key Responsibilities
• Respond to incoming email requests for reports, data analysis, and reporting support
• Create and deliver ad hoc reports in a timely manner
• Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards and visualizations using Power BI or Tableau
• Analyze data trends and provide actionable insights to business stakeholders
• Validate report accuracy and troubleshoot data discrepancies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather reporting requirements
• Maintain documentation for reporting processes and report definitions
• Prioritize multiple reporting requests while meeting deadlines
Qualifications
Required:
• 2+ years of experience in a reporting, analyst, or business intelligence role
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to interpret data and present findings clearly
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience handling multiple ad hoc requests in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
• Experience writing SQL queries
• Familiarity with CRM, ERP, or operational reporting systems
• Experience working with large datasets
• Customer service or client-facing support experience
