Role description
Reporting & Insights Analyst - FTC - St Andrews
We are working on an exclusive fixed-term opportunity for a well-established, globally recognised organisation based in St Andrews.
They're bringing in a Reporting & Insights Analyst to sit within their Technology function, on an 18-month contract with real scope to make an impact.
It's hybrid, mostly office-based to start, settling into a few days from home once you're up to speed.
What's In It For You:
• Competitive salary
• Flexible hybrid working in St Andrews
• 35 days' annual leave
• Company pension
• Life insurance
• Private medical insurance
• ... and much more
The Role:
You will own reporting end-to-end , not just build dashboards, but be the person the business trusts to get the numbers right. You'll be:
• Designing and building the dashboards that leadership actually relies on
• Working directly with stakeholders
• Pulling data together from Databricks and other cloud sources into reliable pipelines
• Spotting trends and flagging what matters before anyone has to ask
• Partnering with data engineering to keep everything joined up
• Managing access and security on reporting, including row-level permissions
• Setting the standards and documentation that keep reporting consistent
• Flagging data gaps and pushing for better data at the source
To Be Considered:
• Solid hands-on Power BI experience - building, not just consuming
• Comfortable with Databricks or similar cloud platforms (Synapse, Snowflake, that world)
• Strong SQL
• A good handle on data modelling and getting dashboards to actually perform
• Confidence presenting insights
• Comfortable juggling priorities in an agile, fast-moving setup
If that sounds like you, please apply with your most up-to-date CV for consideration.
