Role description
We are seeking an experienced Disaster Recovery Resiliency Test Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Commvault and clean room recovery methodologies. This role will focus on validating immutable backups, improving DR processes, and developing structured, audit-ready reporting aligned to business impact requirements. Key Responsibilities • Establish and execute repeatable clean room recovery tests using immutable backups. • Validate backup integrity and recoverability across hybrid cloud environments. • Develop clear, AI-ready DR test documentation and reporting templates. • Use backup and CMDB mapping data to prioritise systems and align recovery plans to BIA outcomes. • Refine runbooks, workflows, automation opportunities, and restore performance. • Troubleshoot backup and restore issues and drive continuous improvement across the DR life cycle. Essential Experience • Proven enterprise disaster recovery testing experience. • Strong hands-on Commvault Complete Backup & Recovery expertise. • Experience with immutable backups, air-gapped or clean room environments. • Understanding of CMDB/service dependency mapping and BIA-aligned recovery planning. • Strong documentation skills and ability to work independently. Desirable • Azure or AWS recovery experience. • PowerShell, Python or API automation. • Familiarity with ISO 22301 or NIST frameworks.
