This role requires someone who can trace data problems to their root, identify incorrect or unaudited data sources, and implement practical solutions to ensure accurate, timely reporting within the EDW. • 🛠️ Responsibilities🔗 Trace data lineage and diagnose data quality issues at the source • 🧩 Identify and resolve data feed, scheduling, and timing inconsistencies • 🚫 Deprecate incorrect or legacy data sources and prevent overfeeding the EDW • 🧠 Apply strong problem-solving skills to technical data challenges • 🧑‍💻 Work independently and take ownership of complex data issues • ✅ Qualifications📊 5+ years of hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouses and ETL/ELT pipelines • ⚡ Strong Databricks experience (required) • 🧮 Expert-level SQL skills; Python scripting experience preferred • ⏱️ Experience optimizing data feeds, schedules, and pipeline timing • 🗂️ Experience consolidating data sources and retiring legacy feeds • 🛒 Retail or grocery industry experience (POS data, item costing, merchant data) • ☁️ Cloud platform experience (Azure or GCP) 📊 Data Lead 📍 Hybrid – Up to 2 days/week onsite in Stillwater, MN 🔁 Must be eligible for conversion to full-time 🔍 Job Summary The Data Lead will act as the central coordinator for data initiatives, helping prioritize work, manage competing requests, and organize data efforts across the business. This role partners closely with executive stakeholders and serves as the connective thread as the data function continues to evolve. • 🛠️ Responsibilities📝 Gather requirements from CFO, merchant leads, and cross-functional stakeholders • 🧭 Prioritize data initiatives and organize work in a logical sequence • 🤝 Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business leadership • 👥 Build and eventually lead a data team • 📣 Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences • ✅ Qualifications📈 7+ years of progressive experience in data management, engineering, or analytics • 🏗️ Proven leadership coordinating data initiatives across business units • ⚖️ Experience prioritizing competing requests from executive leadership • 🛒 Retail or grocery industry experience strongly preferred • ⚙️ Technical fluency with modern data platforms (Databricks, cloud data warehouses)
