Role description
Weβre partnering with our client, a prominent media organization, to find a talented new team member. This contract role supports category-focused advertising efforts across CPG and Retail sectors, located remotely in a dynamic environment. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to strategic insights and client support.

β’ Analyze consumer media trends and industry measurement tools to inform strategic decisions
Responsibilities:
β’ This is not a pure reporting role. Youβll help turn research and measurement data into business-forward insights and actionable recommendations, supporting: RFP responses and sales narratives; Identifying and sizing audience segments (e.g., Gen Z)
β’ Support the development of evidence-based narratives that highlight the companyβs value proposition in the advertising marketplace.
β’ Mine syndicated data sources to identify opportunities aligned with client objectives.
β’ Serve as a link between research, sales, and strategy to craft measurement plans based on client KPIs.
β’ Mapping insights to opportunities across the company portfolio
β’ Assist in developing category-specific insights and reports to support marketing initiatives.
β’ Conduct competitive analyses to benchmark client performance against industry standards.
β’ Participate in client meetings to communicate strategic insights and recommendations.
β’ Monitor industry news and emerging trends to ensure strategies remain innovative and competitive.
β’ Support the creation of training materials for internal teams on data analysis and strategic planning.
Qualifications:
β’ 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in advertising, media, or marketing, ideally within CPG or Retail sectors.
β’ Nielsen / NPower is priority
β’ Support category-focused advertising strategy work, primarily across CPG and Retail
β’ Strong technical foundation in media research and measurement
β’ Other syndicated tools (nice to have; generally easier to learn)
β’ Media metrics and measurement methodologies
β’ Standard media/research terminology
β’ Materials may indirectly support client-facing efforts
β’ Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field.
