Job Title: Risk Reporting Analyst
Job Summary:
Heitmeyer Consulting is currently seeking an experienced Risk Reporting Analyst for a contract-to-hire opportunity with one of our financial services clients. This individual will play a key role in the hands-on execution and delivery of reporting within a regulatory remediation environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in risk management and regulatory remediation, strong analytical and data management skills, and a keen attention to detail. This role requires a collaborative, flexible professional who can manage detailed reporting activities, ensure data accuracy, and support the delivery of clear and insightful reporting to senior stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
β’ Support the production and delivery of regulatory remediation reporting across multiple workstreams.
β’ Gather, validate, and analyze data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in all reporting outputs.
β’ Maintain and update key reporting templates, dashboards, and trackers to reflect current remediation progress.
β’ Identify trends, variances, and data quality issues, escalating findings to senior team members as needed.
β’ Assist in translating data and metrics into clear, concise summaries and visuals for leadership and oversight forums.
β’ Ensure documentation supporting remediation activities is complete, accurate, and audit-ready.
β’ Support the coordination of reporting processes to meet internal governance and external regulatory timelines.
β’ Partner closely with risk and remediation teams to collect updates, confirm progress, and validate remediation status.
β’ Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes and tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
β’ Participate in team meetings, providing insights and updates on reporting deliverables and challenges.
Required Skills:
β’ 5+ years of experience in risk management, regulatory remediation, risk reporting, or related analytical roles within a financial institution.
β’ Prior experience working in a Category III or Category IV bank preferred.
β’ Strong understanding of regulatory remediation processes, governance, and reporting expectations.
β’ Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and explain patterns and anomalies.
β’ Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in data and reporting outputs.
β’ Proficiency with reporting tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar visualization platforms).
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skillsβable to summarize complex information clearly and effectively.
β’ Highly collaborative and team-oriented, willing to roll up their sleeves and adapt in a dynamic environment.
β’ Demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet tight deadlines.
