RPA Business Analyst

NO (Sponsorship, H1-B, OPT, F1, C2C) 6-12 Month Contract with possible extensions – 100% Remote Pay: 60.00 - $65.00 per hour W-2 (Medical/Dental/Vision) MUST be Green Card or US Citizen CBTS is seeking an experienced RPA Business Analyst to support automation initiatives across our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will analyze production, supply chain, and back‑office workflows, identify automation opportunities, and collaborate closely with stakeholders and RPA developers to design scalable robotic automation solutions. This role works cross‑functionally with operations, engineering, IT, and quality to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency. Responsibilities Process Assessment & Automation Identification • Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities, including high‑volume, rule‑based tasks in manufacturing environments such as order processing, inventory reconciliation, procurement, and quality documentation. • Conduct feasibility studies, assess automation potential, calculate automation percentages and FTE impact. • Reengineer processes to improve automation suitability. Documentation & Requirements Gathering • Capture As‑Is and define To‑Be automated process designs using PDD (Process Description Document) and SDD (Solution Design Document). • Work with cross‑functional stakeholders to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements. Collaboration With RPA Development Teams • Partner with RPA developers to ensure requirements are mapped accurately and suitable for development. • Support development, testing, and deployment of RPA bots. Testing & UAT • Define test scenarios, support test planning, test strategy, and execute UAT with business users. • Monitor bot performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure automation aligns with business expectations. Stakeholder Communication • Facilitate workshops with SMEs across manufacturing operations to understand end‑to‑end processes and identify blockers. • Provide regular updates, automation benefits, and ROI insights to project managers and leadership. Continuous Improvement • Maintain and optimize existing RPA bots and propose enhancements. • Recommend best practices for scaling automation across manufacturing units. Requirements: • 3–5 years as a Business Analyst or System Analyst • 2+ years in RPA projects. • Experience with RPA tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere. • Strong understanding of process optimization and mapping. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (preferred but not required).
