Job Description: Enterprise Agile Lead / Coach (Integration & Governance)
Position Title: Enterprise Agile Lead / Coach
Location: Remote
Position Type: Contract (~6 months)
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, governance-focused Enterprise Agile Lead / Coach to orchestrate and align a complex ecosystem of 10 to 13 cross-functional workstreams. In this critical role, you will bridge the gap between internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring everyone operates under a unified delivery framework.
Your mission is to establish robust Agile ceremonies, manage cross-stream dependencies, mitigate risks, and implement flawless Jira tracking.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-Stream Integration & Alignment
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Unite 10 to 13 diverse streams—including Product, Sales, Technology, and Operations—into a single, cohesive delivery cadence.
• Vendor & Third-Party Integration: Seamlessly blend third-party partner deliverables with internal workstreams to ensure end-to-end value delivery.
• Ecosystem Sync: Break down silos between technical and non-technical business units to keep all stakeholders aligned on shared enterprise goals.
Agile Ceremonies & Governance
• Establish Ceremonies: Set up, launch, and mature all critical Agile ceremonies, including Team-level Scrum and program-level Scrum of Scrums (SoS).
• Dependency Management: Proactively map, track, and resolve complex dependencies across all internal and external workstreams.
• Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Implement a structured framework for continuous risk assessment, governance, and roadblock escalation.
Tooling, Organization & Accurate Reporting
• Jira Architecture: Standardize and optimize Jira workflows, boards, and epics to accurately reflect the multi-stream ecosystem.
• Data-Driven Reporting: Build and maintain precise Jira dashboards and reports to provide leadership with transparent metrics on velocity, predictability, and health.
• Rigorous Organization: Enforce high data integrity and administrative discipline across all teams to ensure reporting is reliable and audit-ready.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience & Technical Mastery
• Enterprise Experience: 5+ years of experience leading large-scale Agile transformations or managing complex programs with 10+ concurrent workstreams.
• Integration Expertise: Proven track record of successfully managing and integrating third-party vendors within an Agile framework.
• Advanced Jira Skills: Expert-level proficiency in Jira software configuration, portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira Align, Advanced Roadmaps), and dashboard creation. [1, 2]
• Framework Knowledge: Deep mastery of SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban principles tailored for both technical and business teams.
Certifications (Preferred)
• Certified SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC) or Release Train Engineer (RTE)
• Certified SAFe® Agilist (SA)
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
Core Competencies
• Meticulous organizational skills with a laser focus on data accuracy and detailed reporting.
• Exceptional communication skills to successfully navigate relationships between Product, Sales, Tech, and external vendors.
• Strong governance mindset with the ability to hold teams accountable to process and quality standards.
