Role description
Sales Operations Consultant (Part-Time) Our client, a growing software company that supports manufacturing organizations, is seeking a part-time Sales Operations Consultant. This position is 100% remote, and the engagement has a duration of 4 months. Responsibilities: • Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting for Sales and Marketing performance, including pipeline metrics, bookings, ARR, conversion rates, and cohort trends. • Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to analyze performance drivers and identify opportunities for operational improvements. • Evaluate funnel activity from lead through closed-won to pinpoint areas of leakage and recommend corrective actions. • Build forecasts and scenario models tied to pipeline activity, conversion expectations, and growth planning. • Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for Sales and Marketing spend. • Standardize definitions, metrics, and reporting structures across departments. • Build and maintain dashboards, models, and data workflows that draw from CRM and marketing systems. • Improve data quality, streamline reporting processes, and introduce automation where possible. Requirements: • 5+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Sales Finance, Revenue Operations, or a similar analytical role. • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills. • Advanced Excel and Google Sheets proficiency. • Experience working with Sales and Marketing data, including CRM systems and funnel metrics. • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross?functional partners.
