Salesforce Engineer - admin/integration/data
β’ 6+ months contract ( possible extension into 2027 )

β’ You will work closely with the Fund Sales managers and Data Analyst.
β’ Report to the Director of Finance
β’ The Salesforce environment is mature - 35 users, 350 contacts
Position Summary
This position is responsible for designing, integrating, building, and maintaining Salesforce-CRM and supporting Salesforce Pardot ( content is created elsewhere ). This role will be contract based on updated the current Salesforce structure, build in data governance, update and recreate data feeds from different vendors, and other integrations.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
β’ Minimum 3+years of Salesforce experience.
β’ Knowledge of sales and marketing methodologies including account/territory/opportunity management, demand generation, and lead nurturing.
β’ Experience with Salesforce tech stack (administration, JavaScript, Lightning Design System, Apex, Visualforce).
β’ Experience with analysis/reporting tools such as Salesforce, MS BI, or Tableau.
β’ Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform) preferred.
β’ Ability to diagram customer processes and recommend effective changes.
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
β’ Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation).
β’ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
β’ Understanding of customer and partner relationship strategies.
β’ Knowledge of the customer journey and ability to map touchpoints to the sales process.
β’ Basic understanding of API and REST.
β’ Basic knowledge of database architecture.
β’ Experience in ITIL or formal SDLC methodologies.
β’ Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to instruct others, interpret documents, and write reports and correspondence.
β’ Ability to deal with complex problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
Preferred
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Admin, Advanced Admin, Platform) preferred.
Responsibilities:
β’ Update, design and architect scalable and efficient Salesforce CRM.
β’ Evaluate and recommend technical solutions
β’ Manage Salesforce system administration: custom objects, fields, layouts, validation rules.
β’ Implement automation: workflows, approval processes, and rules to streamline operations.
β’ Ensure data governance: audits, data management, and quality standards adherence.
β’ Design and execute test plans for solution validation.
β’ Lead Salesforce integrations ensuring consistency and information flow across systems.
β’ Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate integration needs and maintain implementations.
β’ Support automations, workflows, and approvals for Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud.
β’ Share best practices, industry trends, and new features with the team and contribute to the development of internal knowledge resources.
β’ Be task-focused and adaptable in a dynamic work environment.
β’ Present ideas clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
β’ Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations including, but not limited to, the Securities Exchange Commission.
β’ Other duties as assigned.
