JOB DESCRIPTION
The Sr. Marketing Systems Analyst will support the customer data platform utilization, maintenance, and enhancements. The Sr. Marketing Systems Analyst is a subject matter expert of the CDP platform, developing, deploying, and training to drive best practice usage and meet business objectives. This role also heavily supports the marketing automation system capabilities and enhancements enabling user utilization to drive best practice usage and meet business objectives.
The Sr. Marketing Systems Analyst executes complex platform enhancements, automated marketing programs, supports development and execution of other marketing programs and critical projects that support data management, lead workflow, lead nurturing, and database integrity. You understand how effective campaigns generate interest in our products and services. And how repeated marketing touches will convert prospects to highly qualified marketing leads for a world-class B2B sales force.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
β’ You are passionate about technology who can dive into the details, creative in coming up with new solutions and able to execute on delivering on those solutions.
β’ You have a good understanding of customer data platform (CDP) and related technologies, such as data management platforms, marketing automation tools, and data lakes.
β’ Develop enhancement requirements based on user requests to facilitate updates in Salesforce Data Cloud, Account Engagement (Pardot), and SFDC CRM tools.
β’ Anticipate and assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce Data Cloud and all upstream and downstream applications, systems and processes.
β’ Project management and participation in systems enhancements, integrations and testing. Includes data migrations, system design, configuration changes, etc.
β’ Motivated to take a deep dive into metrics and data whether itβs to diagnose a problem or evaluate a solution or deliver insights to stakeholders.
β’ Organized, collaborative, and structured approach to managing project ambiguity, complexity, and interdependencies across global systems and teams.
β’ Must have a βcan doβ attitude with an open mindset and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
β’ Ability to collaborate with business leadership and individual members of the team with empathy and ability to creatively problem solve.
β’ Excellent communication and project management skills, have the ability to manage project timelines and expectations.
β’ Translate desired business outcomes to technical requirements and solutions that meet operational and business needs.
β’ Run technology projects with guidance encompassing the functional components of projects: developing requirements, building, testing, user documentation, and training strategies.
β’ Build positive relationships with business partners, development partners and peers on other multi-functional teams such as Marketing, Sales, Service, GIS and Regional Marketing.
Educational Background:
Bachelorβs degree required.
Preferred Experiential Background:
β’ 4-5+ years Salesforce administration experience.
β’ 3-4+ years Salesforce Data Cloud CDP system administration. Salesforce Data Cloud certification.
β’ 3-4+ years Pardot Marketing Automation system administration. Pardot certification.
β’ 3-4+ years Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.
β’ Able to work with accuracy and attention to detail required.
β’ Proactive, creative person with analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to adapt to changes and be open to new ideas.
β’ Clear understanding of sales funnel dynamics and how digital marketing impacts the sales cycle.
β’ Demonstrated written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
β’ Self-motivated and know when to seek guidance.
β’ Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where strategies or campaigns can quickly shift as business needs warrant.
β’ HTML, CSS, APIs, Javascript, query string knowledge is a plus.
