Role description
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Candidate has to come 3 days/week to the Santa Clara office, outstate candidates are fine till the time they are willing to relocate)
Looking for a highly technical, hands-on Lead Revenue Systems Engineer to build, scale, and troubleshoot our Quote-to-Cash (QTC) engine. Working on-site in Santa Clara, you won't just be drawing architecture diagramsβyou will be deep in the weeds of Salesforce CPQ and Zuora Billing. You will write the code, configure the complex pricing rules, and directly manage the integration sync between systems to ensure our revenue operations run flawlessly.
What Youβll Actually Do (Key Responsibilities)
β’ Heavy-Lifting Configuration: Roll up your sleeves to build and maintain complex product bundles, Price Rules, Product Rules, Discount Schedules, and Advanced Approvals directly within Salesforce CPQ.
β’ Hands-on Integration: Directly manage, build, and debug the integration between Salesforce and Zuora. You will handle Zuora CPQ/360 syncs, troubleshoot data flow errors, and build custom REST/SOAP API callouts when the native connectors donβt meet our needs.
β’ Custom Code Development: Write, test, and deploy clean, scalable custom code including Apex classes, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and complex Flow automations. You will also write and maintain custom QCP (Quote Calculator Plugin) scripts in JavaScript.
β’ Zuora Platform Management: Manage the nuts and bolts of our Zuora environment. You will configure the product catalog, handle complex subscription amendments, manage payment gateway setups, and build out customized invoice templates.
β’ Deep Debugging & Support: Act as the ultimate technical escalation point for the QTC tech stack. You will dive into debug logs, trace sync failures between Salesforce and Zuora, and patch system bugs in real-time.
β’ Release & Environment Management: Actively manage sandbox environments, handle CPQ data migrations (e.g., using Gearset, Copado, or Salesforce CLI), and execute smooth production deployments.
