Job brief
We are seeking a Salesforce Experience Cloud Developer to design and develop engaging, scalable, and secure digital experiences for external users including customers, partners, and field agents. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Salesforce Experience Cloud (formerly Community Cloud) and experience integrating portals with core CRM, support, and self-service capabilitiesideally in telecom or similar industries.
Responsibilities
β’ Design and develop custom Experience Cloud sites and portals using Lightning Components, Apex, and declarative configuration
β’ Implement role-based access, user authentication (including SSO), and secure sharing models for external users
β’ Customize templates, branding, and navigation to align with user personas and customer journeys
β’ Build and integrate self-service capabilities such as case management, knowledge base, chat, and order tracking
β’ Work closely with UX/UI designers to deliver responsive, user-friendly portal experiences
β’ Integrate Experience Cloud with Salesforce Service Cloud, CPQ, or external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
β’ Develop and manage Lightning Web Components (LWC) for enhanced portal functionality
β’ Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and deployment activities across multiple environments
β’ Document technical configurations and development logic to support future enhancements and maintenance
Requirements
β’ Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
β’ 3+ years of Salesforce development experience, with at least 1-2 years working with Experience Cloud
β’ Strong skills in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and SOQL
β’ Experience building secure, scalable external user portals for customers or partners
β’ Familiarity with telecom or subscription-based customer journeys is highly desirable
β’ Experience with Salesforce CMS, content delivery, and multi-language/multi-brand portals is a plus
β’ Understanding of identity management and authentication protocols (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
β’ Salesforce certifications such as Experience Cloud Consultant or Platform Developer I preferred
β’ Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
In addition an ideal candidate would:
β’ Be based in USA/Europe (due to time-zone) and/or 100% committed to working in customer time-zone(including a possible night-shift arrangement
β’ Have experience building B2C Customer, B2B Customer or Partner portal in telecommunication industry
