Title Salesforce Platform Developer Location Sales, OR (Onsite)  Duration Long Term Job Type C2C,W2     Job Description Overview: • The Salesforce Platform Developer will design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and API integrations. • This role focuses on delivering scalable, high-performance applications aligned with business needs and technical standards. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop custom applications and enhancements using Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL. • Implement integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs or middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or Boomi. • Collaborate with administrators, architects, and business analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. • Implement and optimize automation solutions using Flow Builder and Process Builder. • Manage CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, and Salesforce DevOps Center. • Perform data migrations and transformations with ETL tools ensuring accuracy and compliance. • Develop solutions adhering to Salesforce security best practices including encryption and role-based access control. • Participate in unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization. • Provide documentation for technical designs, configurations, and deployment processes. Mandatory Certification: • Salesforce Platform Developer I Preferred Certifications: • Salesforce Platform Developer II • Salesforce Data Architect • Salesforce App Builder • Salesforce Technical Architect • Salesforce Integration Architect • CISSP, CRISC, CGRC, CIPT, or CIPP/US (for security and compliance relevance) Required Experience and Skills: • Minimum 8 to 12 years of Salesforce development experience. • Hands-on expertise with Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL, and integration techniques. • Experience with middleware tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.) and REST/SOAP APIs. • Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control (Git), and DevOps practices. • Experience with data migration and ETL tools. • Knowledge of Salesforce security, encryption, and compliance (e.g., HIPAA). • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to scalability and performance.
