Role description
Job Title: Salesforce Senior Developer (Onsite) Location: Linthicum, MD Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: The Salesforce Senior Developer performs day-to-day development of activities pertaining to functional and non-functional technical deliverables of the project. This individual is responsible for performing the following Position Description: β€’ Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications. β€’ Design data models for case records, citizen profiles, eligibility histories, and high-volume datasets specific to Sales, Service and experience cloud within the scope of Salesforce Gov cloud offerings. β€’ Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce functionalities based on business requirements. β€’ Handle application development, including basic Visualforce pages/Lightning pages and Lightning Web Components. β€’ Assist with each release cycle for implementing and deploying new or updated applications and code. β€’ Work with integrated applications such as DocuSign and MuleSoft. β€’ Configuring and deploying Mule applications to Cloud Hub and/or single or clusters of customer-hosted Mule runtimes. β€’ Implementing and consuming (Representational State Transfer) REST and (Single Object Access Protocol) SOAP web services. β€’ Create and configure flows, sub flows, and flow processing strategies for reusability and performance. β€’ Troubleshooting complex production issues with APIs, identify source of the issue and work with the appropriate team to get the issue fixed. β€’ Writing Dataweave expressions to transform data, Control message content, flow, and processing by selecting and implementing appropriate connectors, routers, scopes, and filters. β€’ Conduct testing (unit and systems) and debugging. β€’ Strive for coding best practices and data quality. β€’ Contribute to technical documentation and Release Notes. β€’ Support the Salesforce Administrator occasionally. β€’ Maintain the security and integrity of the application software. β€’ Identifying issues and risks and recommending possible issue and risk mitigation strategies. β€’ Identifying critical paths, tasks, dates, testing, and acceptance criteria. β€’ Forming the strategy and roadmap for operating systems platform and architecture. β€’ Providing solutions to improve efficiency (e.g., reducing costs while maintaining or improving performance levels). β€’ Monitoring issues and providing resolutions for up-to-date status reports. β€’ Reviewing definition of current State architecture blueprints. β€’ Providing expertise with LDV optimization, archiving strategies, and ETL best practices. β€’ Providing experience in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and asynchronous processing patterns (Batch, Queueable, Future). β€’ Researching new technologies and products for their applicability to business processes. β€’ Comparing various solutions and determining the most suitable. β€’ Ensuring that development efforts are well-planned and in compliance to standards. β€’ Advanced understanding of custom metadata types, platform events, dynamic Apex, and modular enterprise code design. β€’ Execute release pipelines for multi-org environments with dependency tracking, rollback planning, and change management and verify and execute API-led integration design, connecting Salesforce with legacy systems, federal databases, and external vendors Education: β€’ This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related scientific or technical discipline. (Note: A Master’s degree and additionally Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect certification from Salesforce is preferred.) General Experience: β€’ The proposed candidate must have at least ten (10) years of experience planning, designing, building, and implementing IT application systems. β€’ This individual must have led or been chief architect in a major IT applications implementation effort. β€’ This individual must also have a strong background in software engineering principles and techniques. Specialized Experience: β€’ The proposed candidate must have at least six (6) years of experience in designing medium to large-scale Salesforce Service cloud solutions, and management of at least five Salesforce and MuleSoft applications. β€’ In-depth experience of designs and implementation of Service Cloud solutions for case lifecycle management, automation (flows/macros), routing, knowledge integration, Experience Cloud architecture for case tracking, submissions, and communications.
