Salesforce Senior Developer – Salesforce Industries & Health Cloud
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Senior Developer for a remote, long-term contract position. The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in Salesforce Industries and Health Cloud and will play a key role in designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions within the healthcare domain.
The will work with a cross-functional team to enhance patient engagement, streamline provider interactions, and deliver high-impact Salesforce solutions that support our business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Components (LWC), Visualforce, and standard Salesforce technologies.
• Implement and configure Salesforce Industries components, including OmniStudio, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
• Develop and customize Salesforce Health Cloud features such as care plans, patient timelines, and provider-patient relationships.
• Integrate Salesforce with external systems via APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware (e.g., MuleSoft), or other tools.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and business analysts to gather requirements and build technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews and uphold Salesforce best practices.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
• Maintain clear technical documentation and participate in Agile development cycles.
Required Qualifications:
• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Industries, including OmniStudio tools.
• Experience working with Salesforce Health Cloud and understanding of healthcare-related data models and regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
• Salesforce Developer Certification (Platform Developer I and II) and/or Salesforce Industries certifications preferred.
• Strong experience with API integrations and third-party systems.
• Solid understanding of Salesforce platform limits, security model, and DevOps practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce Industries (Vlocity) Developer/Consultant Certification.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, or healthcare interoperability standards.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools (Copado, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket).
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
