Title : Salesforce Solutions Architect - W2 Only
Location : Atlanta, GA OR Miami, FL (Hybrid)
Duration : 6+ months Contract
Required Skills: Looking for a Salesforce Solutions Architect/SME Need to have experience with Salesforce Utilities Cloud. Must have certifications.
Salesforce CoE team to architect, develop, and support enterprise-grade, scalable Salesforce solutions that enable consistent, best-in-class implementations across business units. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive platform innovation, enforce standards, and deliver seamless integrations and automation aligned with CoE governance.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Develop and deploy Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows aligned to CoE standards.
β’ Design and build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST, SOAP APIs, and middleware, ensuring reusable and scalable patterns.
β’ Partner with business analysts, architects, and CoE leads to translate business needs into robust technical solutions that adhere to enterprise standards.
β’ Maintain, optimize, and refactor existing Salesforce assets to improve performance, security, and scalability across business units.
β’ Implement and manage automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DX, GitHub, and DevOps best practices standardized by the CoE.
β’ Ensure compliance with CoE governance on data integrity, security models, and platform policies.
β’ Proactively identify and resolve platform issues, risks, and bottlenecks in collaboration with CoE and delivery teams.
β’ Stay current on Salesforce releases and CoE evolving standards to recommend continuous improvements and adoption strategies.
β’ Document technical designs, decisions, and configurations consistent with CoE knowledge management practices.
β’ Support release management, change control, and environment strategy as directed by the CoE.
Required Qualifications:
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
β’ 10+ years of experience as a Salesforce developer or platform engineer in enterprise or CoE settings.
β’ Strong expertise in Apex, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Salesforce declarative features.
β’ Proven experience with Salesforce APIs, integration patterns, and middleware tools.
β’ Familiarity with Salesforce DX, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling aligned to CoE DevOps frameworks.
β’ Deep understanding of Salesforce security, sharing models, and CoE governance policies.
β’ Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills within matrixed teams.
β’ Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification required; Platform Developer II or advanced certifications preferred.
Preferred Skills:
β’ Experience with enterprise middleware platforms such as MuleSoft.
β’ Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and CoE-driven delivery models.
β’ Exposure to DevOps automation and release management in complex Salesforce environments.
