Salary commensurate with experience β€’ Overview: We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Business Analyst who will support our client. This role is responsible for working with stakeholders to design, implement, and improve business processes and systems. The Salesforce Technical Business Analyst will be part of a nimble team dedicated to delivering high-quality project outcomes through thoughtful planning and user collaboration. This role will focus on understanding, documenting, and mapping business processes to Salesforce technology solutions, as well as conducting gap analyses on pre-built systems to determine areas requiring development. Duties: Identify business needs, elicit specifications and requirements, and collaborate with customers and IT team members to develop solutions. Prepare and review functional specifications with customers; revise as needed and obtain sign-off. Provide analysis for projects involving systems design or redesign. Serve as a liaison between customers and the IT team; represent the department on project teams and working groups. Document system processes, configurations, and changes. Manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently, ensuring deadlines are met. Communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Facilitate collaboration among diverse groups across all organizational levels. Mentor and support other team members. Facilitate internal end-user training and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Triage bug and enhancement tickets; assist in diagnosing system problems. Ensure adherence to NYSERDA’s policies, procedures, and data security practices. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Mandatory Qualifications Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field with two years of systems analysis experience; OR associate's degree with five years of systems analysis experience; OR Certificates from recognized programs (may substitute for up to six months of experience). 2+ years of experience in Salesforce functional design and requirements. 3+ years experience translating business needs into formal requirements. 3+ years experience creating functional and technical documentation. Hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud. Familiarity with Salesforce Lightning features, including Flows, Approval Processes, and automations. 6+ months experience creating reports in Salesforce. Understanding of Salesforce data models and metadata. Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences. 6+ months experience establishing and maintaining procedures and processes. 6+ months experience with relational databases; ability to create basic SQL queries. Proficiency with end-user data manipulation tools and report creation tools. Knowledge of data security and encryption.
