Salsify Developer

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Salsify Developer in New Britain, CT. Overview: This team will be focusing on product systems, including Salsify (PIM), Binder (DAM), Box, PriceSpider, Algolia, and Bizarre Voice. Brian's team includes leads for Salsify and Binder/Box, each with two direct reports. Two main priorities are consolidating multiple PIMs (moving to Salsify, retiring River Sand and Adam) and migrating brand/e-commerce sites to the new Polaris platform. Polaris is a headless, microservices-based platform; Craftsman USA is the first site launched, with more planned. The goal is to complete most migrations by the end of 2026, possibly extending into 2027. Additional initiatives include exploring AI applications, with a focus on efficiency rather than cost-cutting. Essential Functions: • Manage tasks to move from ideation, to build, to training and delivery • Work with business stakeholders to outline requirements • Work directly with project developer, coordinator, program manager, and others to accomplish milestone build tasks • Support project cadence for status updates, requirements intake, testing (QA, UAT), and post-launch support • Work with program manager on change management strategies and product roadmap • Proactively manage system licenses for projected growth • Support Global Salsify PMDM platform • Active involvement in requirements gathering, analysis and design discussions, documentation, and execution • Work closely with Product Owner(s) to implement necessary changes and enhancements to large and small data, based on business requirements • Build and deliver reports for various design approaches and functional enhancements • Independently manage detailed log of system changes • Perform QA Testing prior to handoff to project leads; Deploy configuration changes in Salsify DEV and PROD environments Requirements Top Skills: • Salsify scripting/integrations • Python • API (JSON/XML) experience The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
