SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Implementation Specialist

Title: SAC Implementation Specialist – Finance Transformation (TBD) Duration: 1 Year (Contract) Location: Remote Project Overview – Finance Transformation Initiative This role will support a long-term Finance Transformation project focused on implementing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). The goal is to build scalable financial planning and reporting processes, bridge the gap between finance and systems, and accelerate organizational adoption of modern EPM tools. Key Responsibilities Serve as an SAC implementation specialist across both frontend (reporting/planning) and backend (integration/architecture) workstreams. Act as an internal SME to review and validate consulting work, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with business goals. Translate technical SAC configurations into business-relevant insights for the finance team. Collaborate closely with the IBM consulting team, internal stakeholders, and the finance function to ensure smooth implementation. Build and maintain SAC metadata, models, reports, and planning structures from scratch with a hands-on, builder mindset. Provide strategic input and tactical support for SAC enablement, guiding both system and process design. Ideal Candidate Profile 8–10+ years of experience in SAP Analytics Cloud or related EPM technologies. Proven hands-on experience with SAC frontend (planning/reporting) and backend (data modeling, integrations). Strong understanding of balance sheet, cash flow, and financial reporting structures. Skilled at translating between technical and business languages, especially with finance stakeholders. Confident working independently to de-risk project delivery and support in-house knowledge-building. Ability to lead conversations, question assumptions, and work candidly alongside internal teams. Not necessarily a project manager, but a strong functional/technical lead who can guide delivery and drive value.
