Role description
SAP BO SDK Development: Utilize Java and Python to interact with the SAP BO SDK for reading, creating, and modifying complex universes and reports.
Automation & Scripting: Develop Python/Java scripts to automate universe updates, publication processes, and user security management.
SDK Optimization: Analyze existing SDK scripts, re-write outdated code, and optimize for better performance and automated execution.
Universe Maintenance: Responsible for translating data requirement changes into technical updates in the SAP BO Universe (IDT/UDT) automatically.
System Integration: Integrate SAP BO functionalities with version control systems (e.g., Git) and automated testing strategies.
Required Skills
Languages: Strong, hands-on experience in Java and Python for system integration and automation.
SAP BO: Extensive knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects (4.x/BI 2024), particularly Universe Design Tool (UDT) and Information Design Tool (IDT).
SDK/API: Proven experience working with SAP BO Java SDK or RESTful Web Service SDK.
