SAP BODS Consultant

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a hybrid SAP BODS Consultant to join their team in Orlando, FL. Duties: • Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using SAP BusinessObjects Data Services • Extract, transform, and load data from various sources into target systems • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions • Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation to ensure data quality and accuracy • Optimize and tune BODS jobs for performance and scalability • Develop and maintain documentation for data integration processes, data mappings, and technical specifications • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration processes and ETL jobs • Stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in data integration technologies and best practices • Work with different data sources and formats, handling delimiters, unstructured data, data compressions Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field • SAP certifications related to data integration or BODS are desirable but not required • Proven experience as a BODS developer or engineer, with a strong understanding of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services • Proficiency in SQL and database concepts, with hands-on experience working with relational databases • Experience with Snowflake • Experience data modeling, schema design, and data profiling • Experience of building reconciliation reports using information steward • Experience with Python scripting • Experience with other SAP products or technologies (e.g., SAP HANA, SAP BW) is a plus • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams • Cloud integration using native connectors • Automation of batch executions with data error handling and handling server issues The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
