Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and motivated SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) Engineer with hands-on experience in public cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP). The ideal candidate will have a solid background in SAP BTP services, application development, and cloud-native technologies, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure enterprise solutions. Title: SAP BTP Engineer Location: Hybrid (NYC, NY, Salt Lake City, UT, St. Louis, MO) Duration Long Term Contract Only W2 Tax terms accepted Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and deploy applications on SAP BTP, integrating various BTP services (e.g., CAP, Fiori, Workflow, Integration Suite). • Implement and manage cloud-native applications using public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. • Support development, testing, and deployment activities in SAP BTP environments. • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to solution design and best practices. • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system stability and performance. Required Qualifications: • 3–6 years of experience in SAP application development or technical consulting. • Strong experience with SAP BTP services (e.g., Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP), SAP Fiori/UI5, Integration Suite). • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including compute, storage, and networking services. • Proficiency in JavaScript/Node.js, Java, or similar languages. • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git repositories, and DevOps practices. • Experience with APIs, OData, and SAP Gateway. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Preferred Qualifications: • SAP BTP certification(s) or relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer). • Experience with SAP S/4HANA extensions or side-by-side development. • Knowledge of SAP Business Application Studio and Fiori Elements. • Understanding of security, authentication (OAuth2, JWT), and identity management in cloud applications.
