Senior SAP Business Objects Developer Stamford, CT – Onsite Job Description: Report Development: Create, modify, and maintain reports using tools like Web Intelligence (WebI) and Crystal Reports to deliver actionable insights to the business. Universe Development: Design and build SAP BusinessObjects Universes, which act as a semantic layer to provide a user-friendly interface to complex data sources. Data Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Work with business users to understand their reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements and specifications. Testing and Deployment: Conduct testing (unit, integration, user acceptance testing) to ensure the accuracy and functionality of reports and applications before deploying them to production. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support, resolve issues, and debug problems with BusinessObjects reports and applications. Documentation: Maintain and update documentation for the BusinessObjects applications and universes. Technical Expertise: • SAP BusinessObjects Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Web Intelligence (WebI), Crystal Reports, Universe Design Tool (UDT/IDT). • SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and extracting data. • Data Visualization: Ability to present data in a clear and insightful way. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze business processes, understand data flows, and convert raw data into meaningful reports. • Communication: Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with both business stakeholders and IT teams. • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot issues, debug code, and provide efficient solutions to complex problems.
