SAP Business Warehouse Developer

POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for a Senior SAP BW Developer to design, develop, and optimize enterprise data warehouse solutions using SAP BW (including BW on HANA). The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data modeling, ETL development, performance tuning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Design, develop, and maintain data models in SAP BW 7.5 and BW on HANA • Develop and enhance InfoProviders, CompositeProviders, ADSOs, Open ODS Views, DSO, MultiProviders, InfoSets and Transformations • Create high-performance Calculation Views using graphical and SQL Script-based approaches • Design data flows using HANA SQL, procedures, and table functions • Optimize models for large-scale data loads and reporting performance • Integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources using standard and custom extractors • Support reporting solutions via BEx Query Designer, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) is plus, and third-party tools (PowerBI is plus) • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and functional consultants to translate business requirements into scalable BW solutions • Participate in project planning, effort estimation, and code reviews • Provide production support and resolve data issues and load failures • Optimize performance of data loads and queries • Design and develop Web Intelligence (WebI) reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis tools using SAP BusinessObjects • Integrate BO reports with SAP BW, HANA, and/or other data sources • Support report scheduling and publishing using BO tools • Document technical design, testing, and operational procedures EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: • 7 + years of experience in SAP BW development, including at least 3+ years in BW on HANA • Strong proficiency in BW data modeling, ETL, and query design • Solid experience with SAP HANA views and SQL scripting • Experience with SAP extractors (FI, CO, SD, MM, HR, etc.) • Good understanding of ABAP (especially for routines, user exits, and enhancements) • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, or BusinessObjects is a plus • Knowledge of AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, etc.) is a strong plus Preferred Qualifications: • SAP Certified Application Associate (BW/4HANA or HANA Modeling) • Experience with integration to AWS, Azure, or modern data platforms • Exposure to SAP Datasphere, SAP Data Intelligence, or SAP Data Services IPG is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity inclusion and equity at our company.
