Job Summary Data Governance and Quality SAP Data Analyst (REMOTE) We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SAP Data Specialist to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Tableau, Snowflake and SAP systems, with a focus on data profiling, data quality, and data management within SAP environments. This role will be critical in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and optimization of data across various SAP modules. This is pre-work for a migration to S4 Hana. What YOU Will Learn • You will learn how to take raw data from poor to fit for purpose and fabulous • You will learn how to work cross functionally across every area of our business to help our users realize the power of our data assets • You will understand the driving forces that data represents in the life of a complex and exciting company • You will learn best in class toolsets that will drive future career opportunities location: Richardson, Texas job type: Contract salary: $67 - 72 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Associates Responsibilities • Develop and maintain Tableau dashboards and visualizations to support business decision-making. • Proficient in Snowflake development and analyzing data within the environment. • Data Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain data reports and dashboards for key performance indicators (KPIs) related to data quality and system performance. • Data Profiling: Conduct comprehensive data profiling to assess data quality, consistency, and completeness within the SAP environment. Identify patterns, outliers, and anomalies to ensure data accuracy. • Data Quality Management: Develop and implement data quality rules, perform validation checks, and recommend solutions to address data issues. • Data Governance: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data governance standards are maintained and provide guidance on data management best practices. • Data Migration and Integration: Support data migration efforts within SAP by ensuring clean and structured data, assist in data mapping, and help integrate data from various sources. • Collaboration with SAP Functional Teams: Work closely with SAP functional teams (e.g., SAP MM, SD, FICO, etc.) to identify data issues and provide data-driven solutions. • Continuous Improvement: Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives related to SAP data management and identify opportunities to enhance data accuracy and system performance. • Documentation and Training: Document data profiling methodologies, rules, and procedures; assist in the creation of training materials for other teams on data management processes. Qualifications Education & Experience: • Typically requires a degree in Technology, Engineering or Data Science unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience. Qualifications • Strong proficiency in Tableau (dashboard design, calculated fields, performance optimization). • Hands-on experience with Snowflake (SQL, data modeling, performance tuning). • Strong knowledge of SAP modules (e.g., SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, etc.) and related data management processes. • Hands-on experience with data profiling tools and techniques, such as SAP Data Services, Informatica, or other data quality tools. • Familiarity with data integration, migration, and transformation processes within SAP environments. • Solid understanding of data governance principles and best practices. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams. Preferred Skills • Experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) for data profiling, cleansing and validation. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. • Experience with scripting or automation tools to enhance data management processes. • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
