Job Title: SAP Archiving Support Analyst Location- Austin, TX ( Day one Onsite) Job Type: Contract /Recruit Experience: 8–10 years Job Description : Key Responsibilities • Strategy & Design: Define archiving scope, capture requirements, design solutions for data retention, purging, anonymization (GDPR). • Configuration & Development: Configure archiving objects, manage ILM rules, integrate with Content Servers (OpenText), write ABAP for custom needs, manage NLS/NSE. • Execution & Monitoring: Schedule and run archiving jobs, perform health checks, troubleshoot large data volumes, monitor database growth. • Collaboration: Work with BASIS, Security, Business Process teams, and external vendors. • Support: Assist with S/4HANA migrations, system upgrades, and provide training/documentation. Essential Skills & Qualifications • SAP Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP Data Archiving, ArchiveLink, ILM, technical objects (IDOC, SBAL). • Technical Skills: ABAP, database analysis (DB02, DB15), SAP Content Server/OpenText integration, NLS/NSE. • Functional Knowledge: Experience with FI/CO, SD, MM, PM, etc.. • Soft Skills: Problem-solving, communication, leadership, documentation.
