SAP Data Migration Consultant Job Summary We are looking for a skilled SAP Data Migration Consultant to lead data migration projects, focusing on pre-load and post-load validations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel and Power Query, and a deep understanding of SAP functionalities to ensure effective and compliant data migration processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to maintain data integrity and system functionality. Key Responsibilities - Reports Validation: Collaborate with teams to understand pre-load, post-load, and ad hoc reports. Participate in defining reporting requirements and validating reports. - Pre-load Validations: Conduct data profiling, cleansing, and mapping to ensure data quality. Execute validation scripts to verify data accuracy and resolve discrepancies. - Post-load Validations: Perform post-migration testing to ensure data integrity and compliance. Reconcile migrated data with source systems and generate validation reports. - SAP Expertise: Utilize knowledge of SAP modules (OTC, RTR) to ensure data alignment with requirements. Configure and test SAP settings for migration processes. - Analytical and Reporting: Use advanced Excel skills for dataset analysis and create dashboards to communicate results to stakeholders. - Collaboration and Documentation: Work with SAP consultants and developers to ensure integration. Document processes and lessons learned. - Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure adherence to industry standards and implement quality control measures during migration. Qualifications - Experience: Minimum 5 years in SAP data migration, with at least 3 years focusing on validations. Proven success in S/4HANA data migration. Experience with SAP modules and ETL processes is a plus. - Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, LSMW). - Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and resolve discrepancies. - Soft Skills: Excellent communication, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
