SAP Datasphere Consultant

Job Title: SAP Datasphere Consultant (Implementation Pilot – Food Industry) Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract / Full-time (depending on candidate availability) Duration: 6–9 months (with potential extension) Start Date: ASAP About the Project We are initiating an SAP Datasphere implementation pilot for a leading food industry client in the United States. The goal of this project is to modernize data management and analytics by leveraging SAP Datasphere’s unified data architecture, improving data integration, governance, and business insights across the enterprise. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Datasphere Consultant with deep technical expertise to manage the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Datasphere and its integration with existing SAP and non-SAP systems. Key Responsibilities • Strong experience with implementation of SAP Datasphere, including system setup, configuration, data modeling, and integration. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data architecture, governance, and analytics requirements aligned with project goals. • Design and implement data pipelines and integration flows between SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and external data sources. • Support data modeling and transformation using SAP Datasphere tools (semantic modeling, data flows, replication). • Ensure data security, access control, and compliance with industry standards and corporate policies. • Develop and document technical designs, system configurations, and implementation best practices. • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to client and internal teams. • Work closely with the analytics team to enable reporting and visualization via SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or other BI tools. Required Skills & Qualifications • 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere (formerly SAP Data Warehouse Cloud). • Experience with Databricks • Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP HANA Cloud, and related integration tools. • Experience in data modeling, ETL/data integration, and semantic modeling within SAP Datasphere. • Proven ability to connect and harmonize data across SAP and non-SAP sources. • Solid understanding of data governance, lineage, and security concepts. • Proficiency with SQL and data transformation techniques. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions. • Experience working with clients in manufacturing or food industry is a strong plus.
