SAP Demand Planning Analyst

Job Title: SAP Demand Planning Analyst Location: Santa Clara, CA / Phoenix, AZ Duration: 6 months Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced SAP Demand Planning Analyst with a strong background in semiconductor manufacturing and production planning. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA Planning, MRP, and Master Data Management, as well as a solid understanding of transactional data and data integration workflows across complex supply chain environments. Key Responsibilities: • Support and optimize SAP S/4HANA Planning and MRP processes within semiconductor manufacturing operations. • Manage and maintain Master Data including Material, BOM (Bill of Materials), Routing, and Production Versions. • Work with Transactional Data such as Production Orders, Purchase Orders, STOs, Sales Orders, and Forecasts. • Design, document, and execute ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for transferring data from SAP S/4 to planning systems. • Create detailed Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and define Test Scenarios and Test Cases for system validation. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, planners, and IT teams to ensure accurate and efficient data flow across systems. • Analyze and troubleshoot demand and supply planning issues to ensure alignment with production and business goals. Required Skills & Experience: • 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant in manufacturing or supply chain domains. • Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA Planning, MRP, and Master Data management. • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and related planning requirements. • Hands-on experience with transactional data management (Production Orders, POs, STOs, Sales Orders, Forecasting). • Experience in ETL workflows and data migration from SAP to planning or analytics platforms. • Proven ability to produce FDDs, test documentation, and business process maps. • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Information Systems (Master’s preferred).
