SAP HANA XSA Developer (1066 - Data Modeling & Migration - Remote)

• Candidate must be a US Citizen / Green Card Holder • Location: 100% Remote Contract Length: 12+ months, with possible extension Pay Rate: $55/hour Industry: Financial Services We are seeking an experienced SAP HANA XSA Developer with strong expertise in SAP HANA data modeling, SQL, data warehousing, and migration support. This role is ideal for someone who can analyze legacy warehouse environments, translate functional requirements into technical SAP HANA solutions, and support end-to-end data migration activities. Key Responsibilities • Analyze legacy data warehouse structures, schemas, dependencies, and data flows to determine migration scope. • Review functional specifications and translate business requirements into optimized SAP HANA XSA data models. • Inventory relevant applications and map data lineage across upstream and downstream systems. • Design and develop HANA data models, including tables, views, and calculation views. • Define data mappings and support ETL processes for migration into SAP HANA. • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, migration teams, and technical teams to align requirements and delivery. • Support end-to-end migration activities, including testing, defect resolution, and cutover readiness. • Ensure data models are optimized for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with SAP HANA / XSA data modeling. • Strong SQL and data warehousing experience. • Experience designing and developing HANA tables, views, and calculation views. • Experience with data migration, data mapping, data validation, and reconciliation. • Ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical solutions. • Strong understanding of upstream/downstream system dependencies and data lineage. • Experience supporting testing, defect resolution, and migration cutover activities. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
