Role description
SAP Master Data Analyst, Pharma Supply Chain, Regulated Manufacturing Facility
BUSINESS PROBLEM, CONTEXT & INITIATIVE DESCRIPTION
Our Global Pharma client is seeking an SAP Master Data Analyst to support its Supply Chain and Warehousing teams at a new greenfield facility they are building, which entails an SAP data build. This role will be heavily focused on data compilation and entry (60%), with additional focus in project work that includes testing (30%) and limited work in SOP creation support (10%).
The site is in a continuous rolling test mode from an SAP standpoint because its taken on external manufacturing (third party manufacturing) support while trying to get the plant set up. There is a heavy master data lift taking place and this role will be critical in supporting keystroking data entry (NO DESIGN or CONFIGURATION WORK) all while making sure it's done right according to regulated (in this case, GMP -Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.
Because our clientβs site is distinctly NOT an EWN site (rather, basic storage), the ideal candidate will have strong SAP Master Data proficiency, core S4 system experience and have worked in a regulated industry/environment. The right candidate will also possess excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
This role will report into the Associate Director of Materials Management & Supply Chain.
DUTIES / EXPECTATIONS OF THIS ROLE
β’ SAP Master Data Management
β’ Integration Testing: Participate in and support Integration Testing activities across SAP implementation and change projects, ensuring data accuracy and alignment with business processes.
β’ All testing will be for validated systems, therefore all testing will be formal testing from a validation standpoint, with an informal window prior. This mirrors UAT -type testing done in a validated environment (ie instead of checking the box when completed, the tester will be recording their screen and signing off)
β’ Project Support: Collaborate with project teams to maintain data schedules, ensure timeline adherence, and support cross-functional alignment on master data deliverables.
β’ Data Governance: Uphold data quality standards, identify and resolve data discrepancies, and contribute to ongoing data governance initiatives within the organization.
β’ Process Documentation: Support the creation and review of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to master data management and SAP workflows as needed, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards.
MUST HAVES β QUALIFICATION SUMMARY
β’ Bachelorβs Degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field
β’ 3-5+ years or PROFICIENT in Master Data Management or SAP data governance, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry or similar regulated environment.
β’ Strong understanding of SAP modules (MM, PP, QM)
β’ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
β’ Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
