Role description
Position: SAP Plan-to-Produce (S/4HANA) Business Analyst Location: Greater Milwaukee, WI (Hybrid – 1 day onsite) Length: 6+ month contract Job Description: Our client is seeking a skilled SAP Business Analyst with expertise in Plan-to-Produce (PTP) within S/4HANA to enhance and streamline manufacturing and production processes. This role involves leading business process mapping, gathering requirements, and designing solutions that support operational and financial goals. The ideal candidate will work cross-functionally to improve production planning, forecasting, and scheduling through optimized SAP functionality and integration across the enterprise. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Analyze and document SAP Plan-to-Produce processes to identify improvement opportunities and align them with business objectives. • Lead and support SAP S/4HANA implementations, covering requirements definition, design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases. • Provide administrative and functional support for SAP PTP modules, including related interfaces and integrations. • Collaborate with stakeholders across manufacturing, supply chain, and finance to define and deliver effective SAP solutions. • Facilitate workshops for requirements gathering, solution design, and process documentation. • Validate system performance through detailed testing and support defect resolution. • Manage project priorities, ensuring successful delivery across scope, budget, schedule, and quality constraints. • Develop and maintain templates, documentation, and training materials to support ongoing system optimization. • Support process integration with other key functional areas, including Order-to-Cash (OTC), Source-to-Pay (STP), and Record-to-Report (RTR). Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. • 3–5 years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst (ECC or S/4HANA) with a focus on Plan-to-Produce or manufacturing processes. • Experience supporting at least 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations in ECC or S/4HANA. • Strong understanding of SAP manufacturing, production planning, forecasting, and scheduling modules. • Knowledge of SAP configuration, business process design, data governance (MDM), and application testing. • Experience with SAP APO is a plus. • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives and collaborate effectively across technical and business teams. • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
