SAP QA / Business Analyst – S/4HANA & ECC

.Location: Addison, TX Schedule: 2 days a week onsite, 3 days a week from home Duration: 8 months, potential for extension if the individual performs well Pay Rate: $65 to $80 hourly Manager Notes: • This role is more of a SAP Functional Analyst with QA responsibility • Hands-on experience across multiple SAP modules (ECC and S/4HANA) • Currently supporting ECC; will transition to S/4HANA once migration completes • Strong background in MM, SCM, FI, and SD (F2D) modules • Experience with Blue Yonder integrations • Will collaborate with transportation and freight teams • Minimum 10+ years combined SAP ECC and S/4HANA experience • Proven experience in functional configuration and process design • Exposure to automation tools (Tosca preferred) - primarily manual testing with some automation support • Comfortable with defect management, status reporting, and team leadership (supporting a small QA team ~20-30% of time) • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • QA skills can be trained internally, but must have strong functional SAP experience. Role Overview: • Develop and execute test strategies for SAP SCM/MM/F2D modules, covering unit, integration, regression, and UAT phases. • Manage and track defects using HP ALM, JIRA, or Solution Manager. • Support automation initiatives in collaboration with the automation team (Tosca a plus). • Participate in ECC to S/4HANA migration projects, including data mapping and cutover testing. • Ensure all testing activities comply with SOX, GDPR, and internal audit standards. • Implement and test Fiori applications such as Manage Purchase Orders, Post Goods Receipt, and Stock - Single Material. • Prepare functional specifications, user documentation, and provide end-user training. Required Skills: • Deep understanding of SAP MM, SCM, and F2S processes in ECC and S/4HANA. • Experience with Fiori, HANA, and simplified data models. • Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory valuation, and vendor management. • Proficient in manual testing, with exposure to Tosca automation. • Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
