Role – We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SAP S/4HANA Engineer with a strong focus on ABAP and data migration to support a critical transformation programme. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on solving complex data and integration challenges, where your expertise will directly impact migration success and overall programme delivery. Key Responsibilities: • Diagnose, debug, and resolve complex SAP technical and data issues • Deliver high-quality solutions across S/4HANA data migration and integration workstreams • Work closely with Architects, platform teams, and senior stakeholders • Lead the resolution of high-impact data and performance challenges • Develop and optimise solutions using: • ABAP • CDS Views • AMDP • OData services • Support and optimise large-volume data migration processes • Ensure performance tuning and optimisation across S/4HANA environments • Operate independently with minimal reliance on third parties • Contribute to overall technical design and delivery assurance Key Skills: • Strong hands-on experience in SAP S/4HANA development and data migration • Proven expertise in: • ABAP development • CDS Views and AMDP • OData services and integrations • Experience working with: • Large-scale data migration programmes • Complex integrations and interfaces • Strong experience with SAP Business Partner (BP) at scale • Proven ability to: • Diagnose and resolve complex issues independently • Work effectively in high-pressure delivery environments • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills If you are interested or would like to know more, please email jonathan.la@focusonsap.org with your CV and availability to speak.
