We are looking for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Expert - Remote / Telecommute for our client in Dallas, TX Job Title: SAP S/4HANA Production Planning Expert - Remote / Telecommute Job Location: Dallas, TX Job Type: Contract Job Description: • Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions for discrete, process, and hybrid manufacturing environments. • Configure and support discrete and repetitive manufacturing scenarios including production versions, recipes, routings, and master data. • Define and manage order types and production strategies to align with business requirements. • Implement and optimize MPS and MRP strategies aligned with business planning and demand signals. • Ensure seamless integration between Production Planning and other SAP modules including QM, MM, SD, EWM, and FI/CO. • Support manufacturing scenarios such as Make-to-Stock, Make-to-Order, Engineer-to-Order, and Process Manufacturing. • Optimize manufacturing performance indicators including throughput, yield, lead time, and capacity utilization. • Lead workshops and design sessions with business and technical stakeholders. • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and system designs. • Support data migration, testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing, as well as cutover activities. • Provide post go-live support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement recommendations. • Advise stakeholders on SAP S/4HANA best practices, innovations, and product roadmap. • Support SAP ECC to S/4HANA conversions including brownfield and greenfield implementations. • Mentor junior consultants and contribute to internal knowledge sharing initiatives. Responsibilities: • Design and configure SAP S/4HANA Production Planning solutions aligned with manufacturing requirements. • Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements. • Provide functional oversight during configuration, testing, and deployment phases. • Support project delivery including data migration, testing, and deployment activities. • Provide ongoing advisory support and process optimization recommendations. Experience: • 8+ years of SAP Production Planning experience including hands-on S/4HANA implementations. • Experience working in global or multi-plant manufacturing environments. • Experience supporting discrete and process manufacturing scenarios. Skills: • Strong configuration knowledge in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning. • Expertise in MPS and MRP configuration and planning parameters. • Understanding of S/4HANA data models and system simplifications. • Experience working with SAP Fiori applications related to Production Planning and Quality Management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work independently and collaborate in cross-functional teams. Should Have: • SAP certifications in S/4HANA Manufacturing or Production Planning. • Experience with advanced planning tools such as PP/DS, APO, or IBP. • Exposure to Industry 4.0 or digital manufacturing initiatives. • Experience working in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, food and beverage, automotive, or high technology sectors. • Ability to work in agile and traditional project environments. Qualification And Education: • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Information Technology, or a related field.
