Supply Chain Analyst Long Term Contract Remote role Job description MUST HAVE: Hands-on SAP Supply Chain experience (ECC and/or S/4HANA) across modules such as MM, WM/EWM, PP, SD, APO MUST HAVE: Supply chain analytics experience across manufacturing, logistics, and inventory optimization MUST HAVE: SAP S/4HANA migration experience Senior Data Analyst role in Supply Chain with SAP experience combines deep functional supply chain knowledge with advanced data analytics and SAP technical expertise to drive process improvements and strategic decision-making. Role Summary The Senior SAP Supply Chain Analyst serves as a subject matter expert (SME) to analyze, optimize, and support end-to-end supply chain processes (manufacturing, logistics, inventory) within SAP ECC or S/4HANA systems. They bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, using data visualization tools to transform complex data sets into actionable insights and operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities SAP & Data Analysis: Analyze supply chain data within SAP (MM, WM, PP, SD, APO) to identify inefficiencies, trends, and improvement opportunities using tools like SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Alteryx. System Optimization: Configure, test (SIT/UAT), and support SAP solutions, including migrating to S/4HANA. Data Governance & Integrity: Define, document, and maintain master data standards (material masters, vendor masters, BOMs) to ensure data accuracy and compliance. KPI Management: Develop and monitor supply chain KPIs (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, forecast accuracy) to track performance and support decision-making. Process Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve forecasting, inventory management, and transportation efficiency, reducing costs and mitigating risks. Required Qualifications & Skills Experience: 3–6+ years of experience in supply chain analytics or ERP support. SAP Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with SAP modules (MM, PP, EWM, WM, APO) and proficiency in SAP S/4HANA project implementation or support. Technical Tools: Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in SQL, Python/R, or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau). Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze large, multi-source datasets to identify root causes and trends. Nice-to-Haves Experience with S/4HANA brownfield conversions.
