Job Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Syniti Consultant to join our data transformation and migration team supporting an S/4HANA implementation. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in data migration using Syniti tools, along with hands-on experience in SAP BODS, IDOCs, and legacy migration techniques such as LSMW and LTMC. This is a remote role requiring a strategic mindset, strong hands-on skills, and the ability to lead data migration efforts in complex enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and execute end-to-end data migration projects to SAP S/4HANA using Syniti ADM (Advanced Data Migration). • Configure and manage SAP BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) for ETL processes. • Design and execute migration strategies involving IDOCs, LSMW, and LTMC. • Collaborate with business and technical teams to define data mapping, cleansing rules, and transformation logic. • Conduct detailed data profiling, gap analysis, and validation for legacy systems. • Develop functional and technical documentation including data load plans, error handling procedures, and reconciliation reports. • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle. • Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and best practice guidance to junior consultants and cross-functional teams. • Support multiple data loads and cutover cycles, ensuring smooth transition into production environments. • Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and integration challenges. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and coordinate with teams using SAP Solution Manager and ALM tools. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 15+ years of SAP experience, with a minimum of 5+ years in SAP data migration projects. • Proven experience in Syniti ADM and related data migration tools. • Hands-on experience with SAP BODS, IDOC processing, LSMW, and LTMC. • Strong understanding of SAP data structures, T-codes, and functional modules. • Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data validation processes, and data reconciliation techniques. • Proficient in stakeholder communication, requirements gathering, and issue resolution. • Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations (brownfield or greenfield). • Strong communication skills, proactive problem-solving attitude, and ability to work independently. • Knowledge of ALM, Agile delivery methods, and collaboration tools is a plus. Nice to Have: • Prior experience working with SAP Functional Consultants across modules like MM, SD, FI, etc. • Knowledge of SAP master data governance (MDG) tools. • Exposure to complex landscapes involving legacy-to-SAP integrations.
